Pizza Eataliano at Batthyány tér

Pizza Eataliano (formerly Pizza Marzano) at Batthyány tér is easy to find, sandwiched between the Spar Csarnok and Nagyi Palacsinta.  It is rather unassuming from the outside, but it has three floors, and the third floor (with the best view) is non-smoking.  If you can get a table near the window or a seat on the couch, you can enjoy a nice coffee or an Italian meal while enjoying the view of Parliament across the river.

On weekdays they have a lunch menu that gives you a number of choices of pizza, pasta or salad with a small beer or soft drink for 1450 forint or another selection of pasta and pizza accompanied by a starter (soup, salad or bread selection) with a drink for 1950.  This special menu runs from noon until 3pm, but be warned that they may not give you this lunch menu unless you specifically ask for it.  If you don't order off the lunch menu, the pizzas start at 1600 forint and the beverages start at 390 forint.  But considering the view, it's worth it.  And the food is also delicious.
