Arriba--A Little Bit of Colorado Mexican in Budapest

Our favorite Mexican food in Budapest is found at Arriba.  It's a taqueria that prepares fresh tacos, burritos, and quesadillas to order.  The atmosphere is casual and interesting and they have free wifi and free refills. A burrito and large drink will cost you the equivelent of about 2000HUF (just under $9 at current exchange rate)  The owner if from Colorado, and his girlfriend painted the interesting murals on the walls.  It's located conveniently between Octagon and Nyugati.  Take the 4 or 6 tram and get off at either of these stops to find it.  See this 2009 post on Arriba also.

The mural in this picture reads: Thank the Lord for Creating the Taco (in Spanish).

2011 Update: This was written in 2010, but things haven't changed...still an little oasis of Colorado Mexican in the middle of busy Budapest...still a great place to do free wifi despite the piped-in music which can sometimes be a little to loud, but not often. The prices have increased slightly but they have specials on Monday through Wednesday that save you 20% on certain items and they have half price alcoholic drinks from 4-6pm each day.
