The Budapest Christian Library is an ex patriot and tourist blessing! It is conveniently located in the building across from the famous Gellért Hotel and Baths, so you can get there on bus 7 or trams 19, 49, or 18. The library occupies a large flat in the building (pictured above) with two rooms full of books, magazines, and DVDs. While most titles are Christian, they also have a selection of secular books. Most resources are in English although they have a growing number of Hungarian books and DVDs and a few German titles as well.

They offer inexpensive membership and member benefits and accept donations as they are non-profit.
When you get to the front of the building, you will see a buzzer with the library name. Push that button and wait for them to answer and buzz the door opener for you.
